SM City Bataan, in collaboration with the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), joined the nationwide 18-day campaign to end violence against women. The discussion featured talks and activities aimed at raising awareness and promoting community involvement.
Key partners included the Philippine National Police (PNP) K9 unit and the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), who delivered impactful demonstrations and messages about protecting vulnerable populations. The PNP EOD K9 Group highlighted the importance of vigilance and community reporting in addressing violence-related cases.
The PSWDO presented programs supporting survivors of violence, focusing on women and children. They emphasized the role of social workers in providing assistance and encouraged attendees to promote gender equality and actively oppose violence.
Through its social responsibility arm, SM Cares, SM Supermalls continues to advocate for women’s empowerment, health, and safety, striving to build a future where every woman is respected and empowered.
